Facer, the world’s largest watch face platform for smartwatches, is looking for a QA Tester to work with our QA Lead and ensure all products delivered by our company is bug free.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Lead the future of smartwatches and work with our QA Lead to ensure products shipped by our company are bug free and reach the level of quality our users and partners expect.

• Collaborate with Facer's engineering and product teams on large scale efforts spanning the whole Facer platform

• Participate in a very collaborative team effort to deliver the best experience possible to our users.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU!

• Strong initiative and willingness to participate in the project beyond simple execution work (ie. will be working in the core QA time, close to dev & would participate in defining the test strategy)

• A detective mindset: working things out from very little information, understanding features by exploration rather than relying on well-defined specs; always wanting to come up with a solution before waiting on others

• Patience with repetitive work

• Curiosity and some passion for testing software :) 

• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills

• Highly organized, self-starter with attention to detail

EXPERIENCE NEEDED

• Solid experience in analyzing software requirements, creating test cases, and bug write-up

• Good understanding and some working knowledge of software testing types/levels and related techniques (functionality, performance, load, integration, unit, etc.)

• Experience with agile testing methodology

• Experience with mobile app testing

• Experience with web and mobile web testing

• Comfortable with typical tools used in mobile and web software projects, e.g. JIRA, adb, browser dev tools

• Bonus points:

  • Very basic programming knowledge (an understanding of concepts like syntax, variables, and conditionals)

  • Some basic knowledge about databases / SQL
